It has, after months of planning we have launched a new and improved recipe for our Rio Tropical drink. We have made this change to improve the nutritional profile of Rio Tropical, which has involved increasing the percentage of fruit juice and puree from concentrate and reducing the overall sugar content by through the use of sweeteners such as Sucralose and Acesulfame. The result, we believe, is the best version of Rio to-date, and as part of the planned changes, we conducted a consumer tasting and trial to achieve the perfect formulation. The results were a resounding success, with consumers rating the reformulated product highly.

Prior to the change, our Rio Tropical contained over 10g of sugar per 100ml. The reformulation has removed over 50% of the total sugar content compared to the original recipe, reducing it to less than 4.5g per 100ml.

Rio Tropical includes 10mg of vitamin C per 100ml. Vitamin C helps to protect the cells in your body and keep them healthy.

No surprises here, Rio is inspired by the city of Rio in Brazil! We took creative inspiration from the vibrant street art of Brazil.
